I've been trying to find out more about my family's history. Iknow that my great grandfathers name was Charles Leslie Kennard and he married Elizabeth Campbell they moved from Burlington KS to the pacific north west. I'm not sure of his fathers name but I believe his first wife died and he remarried so the family kind of splits from there. If it helps my grandfather was Everet Kennard. His brother Orvil remembers as a small boy playing with the other part of the family from gg grandads second marrage. If any one has some information and some dates it would be great. thanks

Hi All, Enjoyed looking thru your site trying to connect with my elusive gg-grandfather...Kennard (Kinard) Alfred Hamilton and g-grandfather....Alfred Churchill Hamilton. Believe they were from the Iowa & Indiana States abt. 1830-50. Don't really have information around these dates, do however, have a little more around 1870-80's. Would either name ring a bell in someone's data base? Would love to hear from you either posted here or private email. Most Appreciative, Betty Marker in Washington State

Just passing thru. It has been a while since I visited the site. I have a new e-mail address, cary_lori@hotmail.com, I have found the additions interesting. I am from family 38, and would appreciate any info on Amos Ezekial Ray Kinnaird. I am told that he left Tennessee in the very late 1890's or very early 1900's. He went to Texas and remained there until his death (flu) in about 1918. Thanks, Cary

Hi Folks, I am new to these geneology searchs, I just happened upon my family tree and am now trying to go furthur back. My family is 06 with Benjamin Kinnaird(1823-1904) being my gggrandfather. The story passed down in my family is that the Kinnairds oringinated in Scotland and were lords at Kinnaird Castle. There were 3 brothers, one inherited the castle the other two immigrated to the US. We think the names may have been Hugh and Frank. From there we heard that the family owned a muslin factory in Philadelphia and moved to Canada as United Empire Loyalists. Apparently there were 6 brothers that immigrated, one of them being the father of Benjamin Kinnaird (1823-1904). These are family stories handed down, so we are not certain of facts. My also think that they may have lived in the Carolinas. If this sounds familiar to anyone please let me know. Thanks Carley

Hi Folks, I just installed a Search Engine on the Archive page that hopefully will help you in your search for family. It's pretty crude right now but give it a try and see if it is of any help. Let me know, Bob
